What's this Blog About?

Politics in Wisconsin as they roll up to every level... and some other thoughts that may cross my mind are explored here from my lefty point of view. My values shape my opinions. You'll always find them in here. Let's have some fun exploring why Liberal values are American values!

Your comments are both welcome and encouraged!

A Groundhog Day Email from a Friend

Had to share this, it was just too fun...

This year, both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union Address fall on the same day. As Air America Radio pointed out, "It is an ironic juxtaposition: one involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to a creature of little intelligence for prognostication, and the other involves a rodent."

I have much more to blog on, but no time too do it right now.

Just remember this:

  • Alito...Bad, vote in November.
  • NSA Spying...Bad, the "I" word.
  • Fix the PATRIOT Act...Good, stand with Feingold on this.
  • Extend the PATRIOT Act another 6 weeks...okay for now, but get ready to fight.
  • Reauthorize the Voting Rights Act, this will take an entire blog on itself.
  • Doyle a Racist??? Are you f**king kidding me??? This story last week was so outrageous that I couldn't even get myself to comment rationally on it. Clearly, I need more time...
  • Green Bay and the 8th Congressional District race...stay tuned this one's gonna be fun...

Keep checking up on me. I'll be posting a whole lot in the next few weeks and all of the above will be included in the topics.

Doyle is a racist? I guess that's why he adopted black children, eh? Nothing like giving a home, a name and a life of love and support to people you hate! There's stupid, and then there's....

Hey Russell,

Hope you caught my sense of the irony in that statement. He of course is not a racist in any way, shape, form or possible configuration of the term. Charile Sykes and the School Choice nutbags are trying to portray him as one and that's what took me to the level of poor english...

I just am still so angry with Sykes and his mob, that I really can't yet pull my thoughts together enough to blog on it without swearing.

Thanks! Renee
