The Exonerated @ the Mug in Milwaukee (and your local library)!

The Mad Mug Coffee House
7934 W. Burleigh Street (80th & Burleigh)
Milwaukee 53222
(414) 447-6847
Doors open at 6, movie starts at 6:30 p.m.

The Exonerated is flat out one of the most compelling movies that I've ever seen. I was actually brought to tears at the thought of everyday Americans having to go through what these six people went through as innocents on death row. Starring people like Danny Glover, Susan Sarandon, and Aiden Quinn it tells the stories of six people exonerated from death row. It has won Academy Awards, Emmy Awards, etc... and is also an award winning play. See the link on my sidebar for more details on the film.

You MUST see this film and here's your chance!!!

Should you not be able to make it to this screening, 100 copies of The Exonerated have been donated to libraries statewide, so go to your local library and check out a copy!!

Movies That Matter @the Mug is a group of Progressive activists who get together monthly, show a movie and have a discussion about the issues presented by the movie. All are welcome to attend.

You can find out more at their Yahoo Group and sign up for regular email updates: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MoviesAtTheMug
