Another Nominee for the Darwin Awards...

Maybe it's me but I've spent my entire life in Wisconsin. I have been ice fishing. I am pretty sure that as long as there hasn't been a long stretch (at least 3 weeks straight) of below freezing weather, Wisconsin lakes with moving water and fish swimming around in them will not be frozen at least the foot thick needed to ice fish on them, on a day that's above 40 degrees after a week of the same...

The basic laws of physics state that water freezes at 32 degrees fahrenheit. It hadn't snowed, so any idiot could see the black ice (where the ice is really thin) spots on a lake.

So what were these idiots thinking???

Every year this happens and every year, I shake my head in disbelief....
