Find Habeas

As some of my regular readers know, the Military Commissions Act effectively took away a 700 year old piece of commom law. Namely that if you are to be incarcerated, you have the right to ask why and by whom of a court system. Nearly all law worldwide is based on this very simple concept. Last year, the largest democracy in the world eliminated this most basic concept of law. Some Congressmen and the ACLU have an idea on how to get it back. Go to this website and find out why this is such a critical time and critical issue not only in United States history, but in the history of the world...

From the website:
This is Habeas Corpus. On October 17, 2006, he went missing without a trace. Last seen in Washington, D.C., his current whereabouts are unknown. Where is he? We don't know. But we do know Habeas Corpus needs our help. What can you do? Get involved and help us restore Habeas Corpus to his rightful place in our Constitution!
